The Challenge
California Pizza Kitchen wanted to implement promotions in order to improve engagement with their social media profiles and create awareness about their delicious new menu items.

Approach & Results:
Our approach was to leverage their current social media following on Facebook to create a one-week limited time giveaway and contest. We designed a “like-gate” which would provide a free offer only to those who liked their page. The offer, called My Dream Adventure, was a contest that allowed fans a chance to win a dream adventure to a destination inspired by the new menu items. In only one-week’s time, 7,000 users redeemed the offer and more than 1,600 new entrants redeemed it.

In the second week of the campaign, we conceptualized and designed an interactive contest and tab for users to share their #CPKAdventure on Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. All posts made by users with the Hashtag #CPKAdventure would stream onto CPK’s Facebook profile. This concept was very successful engaging brand advocates of CPK and increasing the number of followers on their Instagram and Twitter.
