The Challenge

1080 Financial Group was transitioning from a traditional financial planning firm to a fee-only fiduciary model. Standing out in a very competitive and saturated market is a challenge for every financial advising group. We worked diligently with the 1080 Financial Group team and successfully established a web presence that generates new clientele and inquiries for 1080. One of the major challenges was organizing the website’s content in order for the Client’s various target audiences to obtain information easily. The goal was to re-brand and create an identity based on 3 key fundamentals:

  1. Forward Thinking: 1080 Financial wanted to portray a progressive identity online. Its team members, technology and overall values incorporate a progressive approach.
  2. Fee Only: As a fee-only advisor 1080 makes decisions in the best interest of the investor.
  3. Memorable: A unique design concept makes the brand recognizable- able and engages visitors to want to read about the firm and its offerings.

What type of messages are authentic to the 1080 Financial Team to communicate to a potential client?

What would a potential client search for online? What would would they want to see in advertising? What would make a potential client call?

Answering all of these questions, we optimized the website for geo-local areas as well specific services allowing people to find the firm on Google in an easy manner. We worked with the team to ensure that current clients were publishing positive reviews in order to ensure that potential clients were comfortable to trust 1080 Financial with their money. We approached this in a simple way – we worked backwards from a potential client’s perspective finding the answers to these questions.

Big Results! Placement in LA Times Result 1080 Financial Group received a large placement in the LA Times Business section. We Gained These Results by having better reviews than competitors in the Los Angeles area as well as leveraging high volume of activity on social media and appearing on traditional media platforms such as radio.

Dramatic Increase in Online Traffic Big Jump in Website Visits From October 2015 to July 2016. Monthly Visits went from 429 to 884 and jumped in every outbound and inbound category.
